This is how I added my WordPress (WP) blog link to my Bepress (BP) profile.
- Go to your BP profile page in editing mode.
- Click the “Add Work” button, then select “Add a Link.”
- Enter the link that Lena has provided you (follows the format http://umsldigitalhumanities.org/openaccess/author/YOURNAME/) *The next instructions may appear immediately, or may take a moment to load.
- Now you will fill out the required info (plus whatever additional info you would like to provide). For “Type of Work,” choose “Other.”
- Give the link a title (eg. YOUR NAME Practicum Blog).
- Scroll down to categorize the link under a discipline. Choosing “Social and Behavioral Sciences” will give you an option for “Library and Information Science.” There are also subcategories within LIS from which you can choose (I did not).
- Enter the publication date (you can also enter by season).
- Start typing to enter a display category- I’ve chosen “Featured Works” for mine, but you can create your own or choose from other pre-populated options if you wish.
- Click “Add to Profile.” You’re done! The finished product will look like this:
