During Spring Semester 2020, students in Dr. Kelland’s Digital Public History course created exhibits, a tour, and a storymap interpreting the history of the Mill Creek Valley neighborhood in midtown St. Louis. The neighborhood, a casualty of mid 20th century urban renewal, was once home to a thriving working- and middle-class Black business district, cultural corridor, and residential neighborhood.
