The Kentucky Queer History project is a public history partnership between the University of Louisville’s Archives and Special Collections, and members of UofL’s Public History program. The project highlights locations significant to LGBT history across Kentucky throughout the twentieth century. Co-Curated by history major Emma Johansen and Dr. Lara Kelland, former director of Public History at UofL, now director of the Museums, Heritage, and Public History MA program at the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
