Manifestations of Whiteness in St. Louis – Fall 2020
During Fall Semester 2020, students in Dr. Good’s Whiteness in American History course created exhibits examining the role whiteness has played in the development of St. Louis. Students examined topics including Irish identity, the Veiled Prophet Parade, the 1904 World’s Fair, the desegregation of Catholic Schools, the Fairground Park Race Riot, and conflict during the Civil Rights Movement.
